Chairman Hu provided an update on two major projects underway in Congo:

• 5 Million Ton Refinery Project: Based on Congo’s crude supply and quality, Jinda Energy redesigned an optimized refining plan that meets Chinese standards. All equipment will be newly manufactured, with procurement already in progress. The project is scheduled for a 24-month construction cycle, supported by a completed feasibility study.

• Nangia-2 Oilfield Project: Jinda Energy has conducted detailed geological analysis and developed a five-year plan. The first phase includes drilling 10 exploration wells, with a total of 450 production wells planned over five years, targeting an annual output of 7 million tons.

Minister Itoua welcomed the progress report enthusiastically, noting that President Sassou personally follows these projects weekly and attaches great importance to their success. He pledged full ministerial support and confirmed he would lead inter-ministerial coordination to secure permits and certifications.
