On August 8, 2024, Ginda Energy Group (Liaoning) announced the official commencement of drilling at the Nanjia-2 Oilfield Project in the Republic of Congo, undertaken by its overseas subsidiary.

The project, launched in 2021, has obtained all required permits after two years of preparation. During the Third Belt and Road Forum, President Sassou received a briefing from project leaders and reaffirmed full government support.

The oilfield is expected to generate hundreds of millions in output value across Ginda and Ginda’s industrial chain, extending China’s oilfield services and equipment manufacturing capacity into international markets. Once completed, the project will establish a production scale of 7 million tons annually.
