Ginda Energy Chairman Meets President Sassou in Beijing

On October 16, 2023, during the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum in Beijing, President Denis Sassou Nguesso of the Republic of Congo met with Wang Zhengquan, Chairman of Ginda Energy Group, and Hu Hongyu, Chairman of Jinda Energy Group.

Chairman Wang reported progress on the 5 million ton refinery project, which is planned in two phases, with the first phase designed to process 3 million tons per year within 24 months. He also presented updates on the Nangia-2 Oilfield, covering 784 km², which will secure a stable supply of crude oil for the refinery.

President Sassou praised the progress made, expressed confidence in the projects’ timely completion, and assured full government support. He emphasized that these ventures will enable the Congolese people to share in the benefits of the Belt and Road Initiative.
