Ginda Energy Chairman Attends State Banquet in Congo (Brazzaville)

On February 23, 2024, to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Congo, President Denis Sassou Nguesso hosted a state reception at the Presidential Palace. Attendees included senior Congolese leaders, diplomats, and Chinese officials, including Ambassador Li Yan.
Hu Hongyu, Chairman of Jinda Energy Group (Liaoning), was invited to represent the company. Ambassador Li Yan delivered President Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter and gifted President Sassou memorabilia from his first visit to China 60 years ago.
During the event, Chairman Hu met with Minister of Hydrocarbons Bruno Itoua, business leaders, and Chinese diplomats. Minister Itoua praised Jinda and Ginda’s joint refinery and oilfield investments, calling them symbols of China–Congo industrial cooperation.
The celebration included cultural performances, traditional cuisine, and exhibitions, highlighting the deep friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
